Jonathan Ramasamy shoots to immortalise. He shoots to give life to objects, places and stories, in a way that captures the heart. A perfectionist, he has been honing his passion for years.
Seeing what others can’t, churning emotions that lie latent in fleeting moments, turning the non-living into a key storyteller, it all is an art, a canvas painted through lenses, where technology meets creativity, where a stranger becomes a close counterpart in a story, where the smallest details become the greatest source of jubilation.
Over the years Jonathan has mastered this art. Creating his art in his mind, he transposes them in the frame of his camera that can freeze time and juxtapose every element, thus journaling moments in a way words fail to.
His storytelling style brings out the mood of every moment, sometimes making the dull seem magical through surrealism and yet he makes simplicity seem chic with his minimalist style.
Playing expertly with tonal range, negative space, and colour theory amongst others, he constantly recreates a world out of the ordinary and tickle the hearts of his clients with un explainable amazement.
